Got the 1640

I ordered the 1640 a few days ago from outlet. When I looked at the page they had 10 computers when I reloaded the only had 3 so I jumped and got the first one I could get in my cart.

Then I went and looked at the specs and noticed that the Processor is a 2 Duo P8400 and on the site you cant even order less then the P8600. So im a little neverous. Dont get me wrong I think it was a great deal but am I going to notice the difference/disapointed? I will be using photoshop CS3 and Sony Vegas 9.0.

Here are the other specs too. Looks like a lot of software that I am not going to use.

you probably won't notice the difference in processor speed

 

You may be disappointed in the 720p screen on it though. I was.... Don't be fooled by the high turnover rate on Dell outlet. If you find one that you like quickly put it in you cart and just keep surfing delloutlet, if you keep playing around on there you can keep it in your cart all day, but if you leave the site or stop surfing delloutlet.com, after 15 minutes, it will be returned to stock... Alot of people will check 5+ systems and put them in their carts and then review the specs, and delete the ones they don't want, which will put them back on the website within about 2 hours... Tricks of the trade.

I was patient and got mine for $1019 shipped after 15% off coupon. (There is an active outlet 15% coupon right now until the 27th)
