    Got my M1730 but I have some problems...

    1) (RESOLVED)logictech screen just shows "XPS" little button next to it does nothing.
    2) (RESOLVED)no way to change led colors... looks like im missing the dell quickset icon on the lower right.
    3) I put in iron man bluray and it didnt work.

    Seems like im missing some key software to runs some of this stuff.



    Any help would be great.

    need to install the logitech software

    reinstall the quickset drivers

    Media Direct 3.5?

    I put the cd in but I get installation errors....

    The button next to the power button with the little house doesnt work either..

    Media Direct 3.5 wont play newer BD discs. It doesn't seem like Dell is interested in having MD 3.5 updated. Media Direct is actually produced by Cyberlink.

    Media Direct 4.0 will play the newer BDs but it is not supported on the XPS line.

    You need to hunt around on here for the MD 4 iso. You also have to make sure that you are running a WHQL (signed) display driver. In the latest update to MD4, you will not be able to use virtual CD software at the same time you are running MD4, this includes AnyDVD. You can also pay for the Arcsoft and Cyberlink Blu-Ray software if you want to.
