I'm running the nVidia 8600 GT (256MB) and installed World in Conflict recently and having some very strange problems with memory. When playing like for 10 minutes all or sudden it reads: "You system running low on memory, click ok to terminate" or something like that, when I click ok, it ends the game and I have to re-start again from the very beginning (very annoying) and I don't understand: I have 4GB of system memory on my XPS M1530.
Has anyone experienced this same problem on their XPS?

I am trying the demo version and have not had that problem. However, the frame rate on my XPS M1530 is quite poor - to the point of making it unplayable. There are no video adjustments available in the demo. Does the full version have some? Are you having a frame rate problem on your 1530? I won't buy the game if this is as good as it gets on this laptop.

Hey guys try turning off and disabling superfetch in services, restart and then try the game again.
If you need help with this let me know. -
Thanks. -
If you're finding WiC to be unplayably slow using an 8600m GT, make sure to consider the modded drivers available at laptopvideo2go.com. I was getting 15-20 fps on WiC until I replaced the 'Dell' video driver for my 8600m with a modded driver. Now I get 30+ at 1280x800 & medium settings.
