    I tried searching for this on Google, but all that comes up are comparisons to the MBP which has Firewire 800.

    So my question is what Firewire does the m1530 support? 1) 400 or 2) both 800 and 400?

    Its an IEEE 1394a connection, so only 400Mbit is supported.
    (the 800Mbit version was the next revision called IEEE 1394b)
