I've had my computer for over six months and have never used the scanner. I find it convenient to just press the power button and not have to do anything before windows comes up, but I've always been curious. For those that are using it:

    1. Beyond security reasons, are you happy using it?

    2. Is it better to save the fingerprint scans to the scanner or the hard drive?

    3. Is it true that once you set it up, you can never go back to windows coming on automatically after powering on?

    Thanks!

I use it on my M1530 and i am very happy with it, my friends find it super cool, I don't use it for security, i don't need to.
I save my fingerprints on the fingerprint memory so that when I format my computer, they stay. I also feel safer with them there, besides, who has more than 21 fingers??

    Enjoy it,
    Sam
