Hi everyone, I am looking to buy the XPS 1647. However having a number pad is very important to me, I was wondering if there is a function which can turn the keyboard into a numberpad? If there is how good is it?

To be honest I think anyone who wants a numpad should either buy a usb add-on or get a laptop with a numpad.

I agree with jeremy2223. You will probably want a USB number pad if you get a Studio XPS 16. The numbers aren't printed on the keyboard, but they still seem to work though. For example, if I press 'Fn+J' I get '1'. You will also need to always hold the 'Fn' key. There's no way to lock it so that just pressing 'J' gives you '1' like some older laptops do. (The NumLock key has been removed, along with several others.)
