I have the L501X with the 720p screen and by default the screen brightness is set at max in the power options in the power plans. So have you guys kept it like that or have you turned it down a bit ?

This question is mostly directed to those who have the XPS L501X or L502X.

My screen brightness is set at about 20% when plugged in and 15% on battery, adjust the screen brightness to your comfort. even at 15% and 20% the screen is damn bright, plus you can save on battery time by reducing the brightness

I had it on 100% but used F.lux It changes the colour calibration to reduce eye strain. Takes a week or so to get used to though but I did mostly use my L502 in the twilight hours so it was fairly smooth.

I used to keep mine at 75% due to eye strain but after using a calibration file that I got off of the forum I have it at 100% now.
