The computer has a physical problem with the keyboard. Hitting the "2", "3" and "4" keys triggers the search function, "F3". Is there anyway of disabling the search function keys or completely disabling all the function keys?

    Hi,

My name is Deepa and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Please click on start and type "mobility” in the search bar. It will open up windows mobility center for you. There you need to find function keys. In function key row you need to select function key in order to see your keyboard keys behaving normally. You cannot change the windows key hotkeys but you can just enable or disable them. For your information I would like to tell you that in windows 7 windows hotkeys are enabled by default. You can also refer to this link for more information on enabling or disabling the windows hotkeys:-
