Hi, I have purchased the XPS 15 and I must say this is the best laptop I ever seen. No problem at all with the hardware, and the software side as usual with windows is a bit "buggy' but not too much. I have enough pc knowledge to not worry about all of the software side.
The only problem is that I work with audio:
this audio interface is pretty solid, it even has ASIO driver, and that's unusual for consumer audio card.
The only thing I need to know is how to disable COMPLETELY maxxaudio? Everytime I plug my headphones the maxxaudio is enabled by default, even if the program is not running on background.
I have disabled all the options in the dell audio app and stopped the Dell Audio App autostart.
Is there any chance to disable it completely?

Try disabling the WAVES service and deleting the waves files after. You can actually delete the dell audio app (it's one of the apps in the realtek folder) but I'm not sure if it will truly disable it.

In the Waves folder inside realtek there are only 2 installation files and one Cab file. I've deleted those but I don't think they're the actual service.
I've disabled the Waves service from Windows Services panel.

Don't know why but the Waves MaxxAudio keep getting back. Maybe I need to delete some other files IDK.
