    hi i have dell xps m1710 when i play games on it without conecting adaptor it runs games slow when i connect adaptor with laptop its play games well tell me y and is there any solution to run games well without connecting adaptor thankss alot.

    are u usin vista? check yur battery performance settings.

    right click the battery icon near yur clock. go to the power options and change it to high performance.
