    1. What is the advantage to upgrading to Vista 64Bit?

    2. Should I look for a bigger processor than XPS M1330, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7250 (2.0GHz/800MHzFSB, 2M L2 Cache) - if I want to go with the 64bit?

    3. Would you change anything to this configuration and is it a good deal...

    -Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7250 (2.0GHz/800MHzFSB, 2M L2 Cache)
    - 4GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm
    - 13.3 Inch Wide Screen WXGA TL WLED Backlit LCD with Camera (LED right?)
    - 250G 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
    - Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card
    - 85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery, for XPS M1330
    - 3 Year Limited Warranty
    - CompleteCare Accidental DamageProtection, Inspiron, 3 Year
    - Bund. LoJack Theft Recovery - 3 Year DHS

    for $1532...

    anything to change?

Yeah are you getting 8400M GS or X3100?

And I'd make the jump to the T7500 if available, or the T8100.

Integrated graphics card... no need for gaming

Good idea on the santa rosa if it runs cooler/saves battery

There does seem to be a love/hate thing with 64bit, but I'm with you. It sounds great, but I am worried about screwing things up by not having the proper drivers, having some software potentially not work ... ehhh. I don't know!!
(I just ordered my M1330, expected ship 7/17)

The LED screen seems to get a ho-hum review... I would spend cash on a 7,200 speed drive instead - This will speed up the boot and software load time :> and get built in bluetooth for the $20 bucks... (I do NOT understand why this isn't STANDARD)

To avoid any drivers and apps issues, it's better to go for the 32-bit version.
Remember this is a laptop we're talking about. Most likely your apps are 32-bits anyways and the M1330 "only" has 4Gigs of RAM.

    yeh that's what

i am planing to buy 4 GB ram wid 32 bit so i think i will able to use 3.5 GB. i cant take headache for 64 bit drivers. i wish i can but i really don't have much time to search drivers etc.
