I want to buy the studio xps 16 but I heard that dell will update its graphic card from the radeon 3670 to the newer 4670 card shuold I buy it now or wait a few months? also does the T9800(2.93GHz) worth the $275 incraese in price or I can just overclock the T9550(2.66GHz)

Well, if you're going to game on this thing and you know the 3670 isn't going to suffice; there's no harm in waiting for the 4670. But I wouldn't count on this option being available unless you've heard it from an official source. You won't be able to overclock the T9550 at all (period), but I don't think the T9800 is worth an extra $275 in either case. But ultimately it really depends on what you're using this machine for...

Yeah Dell hasn't announced anything official concerning when they're adding the HD4670 to the SXPS so June 1st is really fan speculation at this point lol :p

Considering the Studios have been upgraded to HD 4570s, I don't think it's a stretch to believe that Dell will have HD 4670s in their Studio XPS.

Why not  is it because of the studio xps heating issue?

Do you think Dell added 4670 support to the A07 bios because they were bored?

They obviously are going to add it, but there's no indication on a date. Early June is nothing but fan speculation as Dell themselves have not given any official statement.

The HD4570 came with the Studio 15 refresh, which Dell did announce prior to releasing it...

Nobody claims of knowing a set date yet for the revision but we do know it's coming. And it's pretty easy to extrapolate based on what Dell is doing (20% outlet coupons to clear inventory etc) that the refresh is right around the corner. My personal guess (as I've repeated) is the beginning of June and no later than mid June.

Well if it's only a GPU change I guess it's understandable Dell doesn't announce it, but you'd think if it was so soon, they'd have told us somehow other than those subtle hints >.>

I personally think/hope it's in June, but there hasn't really been much to go from.
