In the front, to the right of the power light.

it's next to the power LED, and the audio jacks, but it will only flash when the HD is used. Is it important to see that?

I think it is important to see one. It can differentiate between a frozen program, and a program that is just chugging across the hard drive.

There are other, more accurate ways of telling that, but to each his own I guess. I just thought they sounded a bit distressed about it, when to me it's like a broken logo or something. The thing still functions, not anything to get wound up about, but I probably misinterpreted the tone.

so you didn't find the light in between the power light and the SD slot, I take it? Do you at least see the outline where it should be? A little bit of the light from my power light bleeds through, so you should at least be able to tell where it should be.

I was looking at the wrong spot. I found it. I feel almost kinda silly. I didn't look by the SD slot I was looking where the power button is. Please forgive me guys. I made a mistake
