    Ok I want to buy 2 x 2gb ddr2 667mhz non-ecc 200-pin laptop ram for my dell xps 1530.

Can I buy any ram like the Kingston 2gb valueram, which matches the settings above, or any other type of memory that is ddr2 667mhz non-ecc 200-pin ???

Or do I have to buy specific memory that for example the crucial memory advisor tool shows for a dell xps 1530 or even dell ram ??

Will any work? and will it affect anything ? any difference

    Hi
As long as the ram you are buying has the same number of pins as are in your slots brand does not matter just make sure its the same speed ext. as your previous ram and you wont have a problem. sorry im a bit messy but you get the point..lol
