    Hi All
I want to buy this :
    Dell XPS 13 9343-7273SLV Core i7 256GB Signature Edition
But it only has 256GB SSD and 8GB ram ...:
Can Dell upgrade it to 500GB and at least 12 or 16GB of ram ?
    Thanks .

512GB SSD is available. 8GB of ram is the highest it will do, unfortunately.
Then I realized that the cpu is too underpowered to take advantage of 16gb anyways.

Intel i7 4th generation is under powered ...??
I thought WDs 64Bit can handle up to 46GB or higher ..
BTW ... just wondering Dell can custom build XPS 13 .. because It doesn't make sense that I have to spend more money to upgrade it by myself ...

    "
    Dell XPS 13*
    4th generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor
    • Display resolution: 3200 x 1800 pixels
    • Capacity: 512 GB
    • Memory: 16 GB ...!! "
    Thanks.

    1. What I meant by underpowered was its processing capability. To fully take advantage of anything 16gb+ I say quad core is the sweet spot, unless you want your laptop running 50-70% most of the time.
    2. This is 5th gen Core processors
    3. I WISH AND PRAY that Dell brings 16gb option. I really do. But they will not. It is what it is...
