    Hi All,

I am hoping someone on this forum is able to help because 3 Dell Engineers were totally useless and told me 3 different things. :(

I bought my XPS with Vista Ultimate but I want to downgrade until Vista release SP2 or SP3. I have read some things about Media Direct but I am still a little confused.

I am trying to find out which version of Dell Media Direct definately works with Windows XP? I got Ver 3.5 (Which One Dell Engineer I spoke said didn't exist  and it was news to him. He only had version 3.0) and I would obviously like to use a "supported" version. ;)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

    Cheers,
    WD

Well I guess there is nothing like giving it a go.

    It worked!

I followed the following post: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=88032
How to install MediaDirect 3.0 or reformat laptops with Media Direct 3.0

It worked for MediaDirect 3.5!! On Windows XP :)

This is a great forum! Keep up the good work!
