    Hello,

Did a search on this forum as well and see that people have had issues with Hibernate (when closing the lid). Most often it seems it is faster to shutdown and reboot rather than Hibernate.

All drivers are up to date. Win-7 Prof 64-bit, 8GB RAM etc. etc. This issue is more pronounced in Win-7. When I had XP on this box, hibernate worked much better.

Also disabled Wifi adapter 'allow computer to turn off device' feature

Has anyone figured out a way out of this one?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

recently I had the new HDD (that i used on my unit for win-7 installation) starting to give SMART errors. After replacing with the new drive, it seems that hibernation issues have gone way. Of course it has been only a week but still...
