    Hi.
I'm having some issues with my Dell XPS M1530.

I've read up on the whole Nvidia video card issues, and i've tried the fixes for it, but what I'm experiencing with mine I havent been able to find about it on the internet.

My comp crashed just like everyone elses did, but not too long after, it stopped running altogether.

When I press start, nothing happens at all, not even the fan runs.

I plug the charging cable into the wall, and the green light comes on the box thats there, but as soon as I plug it into my computer, the light on that box goes off.

i can't tell if this is a motherboard issue, but I dont think it's a Video card issue cause i've tried all the fixes with heat I could find, and it still does the same thing.

Any insight into this would be super helpful!!
    Thanks!!

If the green light on the charger is going out it's not a video card issue, but you're going to have to replace the motherboard anyway. I would honestly recommend getting a new machine as you're basically asking for at least an Nvidia GPU issue somewhere down the line if you buy a new board.
