    Hello all,

Before I begin, thank you for taking the time to help me with this.

I am thinking about purchasing a Dell XPS M1530 for Home/College use. I would like to know what accessories does the Dell XPS M1530 come with right out of the box, without me adding/buying anything additional? I've seen reviews where there are:

    -earbuds
    -media control remote
    -silk cloth for cleaning
    -laptop case
    -CD case/portfolio

Are all these things included or do you have to pay for them?

    Thanks.

remote control is listed in my invoice and should be there(included without any options)

the laptop is shipped inside the sleeve, so you are pretty much guaranteed to get that

the earbuds, silkcloth, CD case are freebies... its hit and miss... i (and many other people) didnt get them, but I call and dell sent them to me :p

What exactly did u say to them when you called them because when I'm customizing my XPS, it costs $$ in the accessories tab?

    Thanks

the items i've listed in my previous post CANNOT be configued at the accessories tab..... they are meant to be freebies for the premium XPS system(well, u paid so much for a laptop, dell gives you some XPS branded items)

have u ordered? if u havent, go order on the phone. before ordering, ask to make sure whether those freebies are sent to u... if not, hang up and call again(get another person)....

also, hav eu checked this deal?

Hey...Call Dell about this...and most likely they will send it to you ;) :) Tell them all was included except for the earbuds..(if you rec'd all minus the ear buds)??

Either way, you still should've gotten them. ;) :)

    Good luck!

    Cin ;) :)

I got 2 pair of creative ear buds after bothering them and then a $100 gift card :). So I got a nice wireless mouse and bag.
The key is finding a good serv rep and then you are set.
