How so? Because of the older chipset? Who cares. The only thing that really irritates me is that it doesn't have gigabit, so I'll have to buy an expresscard. I really wanted a Lenovo X301, but it's overpriced and I read some pretty nasty user reviews concerning reliability. Ultimately it just came down to features per dollar, and I think I got a great deal for ~$1300 w/tax:

    2.4 GHz/3M Core 2 Duo
    4GB DDR2 RAM
    DVD/CD burner
    128GB SSD
    13.3" LED screen
    Intel AGN wireless
    9-cell battery
