Hey, you know the colored part of the M1330 & M1530, whats the texture like, I know the alpine white is glossy (even though thats not on offer in the UK) but what about the Black, Red & Blue? In pictures I can't make out if its a rubbery material or just plastic... also is it easy to keep clean?
Another thing... will there be any new colors on offer in the UK any time? And I thought you could get an M1530 in Crimson Red, but seems like you can't! I'd prefer Alpine white but as I said thats not on offer in the UK, the Tuxedo Black is just boring and Midnight Blue looks a bit corporate, so it seems that theres not a color for me!!

Sorry this is just going off on a bit of a tangent... I thought the word 'color' was spelt COLOUR, but the spell checker doesn't have that as an option, is that how its spelt in America or something or am I just rubbish at spelling?!?!
    Thanks

The other colors are a Matte finish, no gloss. Almost has a rubbery feel.

my Red XPS M1530 feels like a rubbery material. Possible some kind of liquid latex coating that gets sprayed on.

The Crimson Red lid is still available but only on the (PRODUCT)RED branded versions of the laptops - these cost a bit more than the base specs as they come with Vista Ultimate, etc. as standard (but were equal priced to an equally upgraded regular M1x30 when I checked last).
