Hi I have a Dell XPS L702x with i5-2540m 2.6 GHZ and it is running at 798mhz. I have reinstalled windows 7 64 bit and adjusted the power management in windows to Max Performance. I have tried disabling speedstep and have flashed A19 with the Captains A19 Mod and nothing works. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Just to be sure, it still stays at that speed when you load the CPU (ie with like Prime95) and you don't have an "AC adapter not recognized" sort of error?

I think disabling SpeedStep usually locks the CPU at the lowest speed too...
