My brother has a Dell XPS L702X but it came with no bluetooth. Can a bluetooth card be installed if so, what model and is it easy to fit.

Yes, you can swap out your wifi card for one with bluetooth. I swapped mine for an Intel Advanced-N 6230 + BT because I wanted the dual band wifi (and have had zero problems with it), but there are other models you can get for cheap too.

Dell Support has some easy to follow guides at their site:

I got mine from Amazon, but if you Google it there are a ton of places that sell them.

edit - I should add that some people have had problems with the 6230, but I don't know if it's the card's fault or operator error. Mine has been flawless, though.

6230 issues result from using the 2.4GHz wireless band AND the bluetooth simultaneously as they use the same frequency. If you can use the wireless on 5GHz, then you should be set. Also, it is only some cases that have the issues, others are fine.
