    Here is the latest XPS 15 L521x BIOS . I could download it by IDM.
    L521XA12W.exe

    Known fixes:
    Update Nvidia VBIOS N13P-GS version [80.07.59.00.0A], N13P-GV version [75.17.46.00.03] to support Hynix A-die.

    Compatibility:
    Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit
    Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit

    Is not tested by me yet.

    I just went ahead and updated the Bios to the latest one, A12, everything works fine so far, cool and quite, temps are in its low 50s & fan stays off while doing light work.
    Under power saver I get over six hours, good enough.
    Wi-Fi is still bad.
