I'm really interested in the Dell XPS 2015 edition.

"Besides having a larger display, the XPS 15 boasts an UltraSharp 4K Ultra HD touch display, with more than 8 million pixels. Dell claims that the 4K Ultra HD screen option is the highest resolution panel available on a 15-inch laptop today.

It is indeed one of the best screens I've ever seen and the processor was able to keep motion smooth and flawless while playing a movie on an engineering sample.

There will be a broad array of pricing points in the new Dell XPS laptops. The XPS 13 starts at $799.99, far cheaper than other versions of the XPS line, and will be available starting January 6. Frankly, for all you get even on the low-end, I think this may be the best deal on a laptop I've seen in years.

The XPS 15 will be appearing later in the first quarter and its high-end screen will come with a high-end price: $2,349."

Does anybody else have more information on this? Pictures maybe?

    Thanks!

That 15 inch price is ridiculous.

I cant see a Dell xps 15 costing that much in 2015, unless it has 16 or more gigs of ram, a 1tb ssd, qhd + touch, 4 yrs warranty + accidental damage, i7, extra battery life, etc.. etc...

    Just ridiculous.

Just got a confirmation that a 9530 with 4K UltraSharp UHD screen has been ordered. Looks like it'll be shipped feb. 6th.

Will the new XPS 15 have broadwell? or still Haswell (=coil-whine)?

Still Haswell. Broadwell is ULV only (and no quadcores), which IMHO isn't powerful enough to be in an XPS 15. Here's the specs of the one I'm receiving:

Huh, are you sure that's the new 2015 model? It still only has GT750M graphics!

He's ordering the XPS15 refreshed version. Not yet the 2015 model with broadwell and above architecture. Refreshed version comes with UHD+ resolution :)
