Im sorry i created a new thread, but i want to show Dell Customer Care what i am facing, since i dont think they understand my problem..

I bought my laptop around the end of February for a competition which required a laptop capable of making quick renders of 3D objects. oh, and also for Gaming

    My Laptop Specs :-
    Core i7 720QM
    6GB DDR3 RAM
    ATI 4670 1GB GFX card
    RGB LED Screen
    9 cell battery
1 year premium warranty (starting to regret not taking the 3 year one)

All my problems are listed out in chronological order

    1. 3 weeks after receiving my laptop, on the last day of the competition 8 keys on my keyboard stop functioning (6,7,y,u,h,j,n,m), since i use Blender3D which has a huge dependency on shortcut keys, this caused me a lot of hardships since i had to rely on the virtual keyboard.
Dell sent me a replacement keyboard - worked for 4 days, problem started again
Dell sent me another replacement keyboard along with the motherboard - the technician came home and said that it was a problem with the keyboard and replacing the motherboard was not necessary - worked for 7 days, problem started again
This time my issue was escalated as they call it, and my motherboard was finally replaced.

2.Freezing - I had been having this problem from the beginning but took it seriously only recently, called Dell, they seemed to be aware of the problem and sent me the 130W adapter. (Problem Solved)

3.Throttling - With the 130W adapter Assassins Creed 2 seemed to be running great, but after 10mins, it started lagging really bad and there was static in the audio. I think this is because of my CPU or GPU overheating. Called Dell - they told me to install all the latest drivers, did that, no effect.
Next they came to re-install the motherboard, the technician screwed it up...
first he didnt set the heat sink properly, after about 4 mins of use the laptop shut down, he then set it right, and then i find out that my speakers and audio ports arent working and also the USB ports which apparently are on the audio card......so now Dell will come again, rip apart my laptop and replace my audio card on Monday....the Rep said that he would escalate my case to replacement if this didnt work....frankly i dont think it will...replacing my audio card will still not help my throttling and overheating issue...

4.Everyone says that when you run games etc, on battery it should work well..but thats not the case on my XPS, most games like Call of Duty 4 besides others run in something like slow motion...when it comes to cut-scenes they audio plays fine, but the video is still in a slow motion..i dont understand why...

5.The main air-vent is right in blocked by the screen...now im not a major techie...but i really dont think thats good for the screen...or even for the airflow..

On 3D applications i see the same reduction in performance after the Comp starts throttling...

If anyone needs any temperature readings or anything of that sort i will gladly post them.

I have tested a lot of games, and various 3D applications like Maya and 3D max aswell....so this dip in performance im sure is not associated with a single application alone

When the CPU/GPU is throttled even internet explorer and media player lags (even if i close the games/3d applications)

I tried to explain all these problems in performance to the technician but he kept insisting that it was due to heavy applications...frankly i find it hard to believe that my laptop runs something like a game perfectly with no problems for 5-10 mins and then throttles due since its not powerful enough to run it....funnily enough my friend with a 1 year old HP DV7 runs all my games and applications perfectly....
