    Hi everybody,

I've just bought a new XPS 15z i7 from Dell.com. The existing system installed by Dell worked well for me and I have no trouble with that. However, as always, I try to do a clean install on a new laptop because I hate the extra softwares such as Roxio and McAfee. So I do a clean install with Windows 7 Professional. After installing some drivers, I notice that my volume control button doesn't work any more :( I have to use on-screen volume adjustment. The same happens with my DVD but I fixed that by installing a driver. Not only that, after the fresh install, my webcam becomes blurred and the quality is really bad, I think it may due to some driver also. So in case you have experienced with this, would you mind telling me which drivers to install so that my volume button on keyboard and my webcam work well again? Thank you very much in advance.

Try and install Dell webcam central (for webcam) and Quickset (for volume).

thank you very much for your answer. I had my volume work. Would you mind giving me the link to download the webcam central since I found many webcam softwares on dell's website and not sure which one is for my 15z.

actually I found that it's not the webcam but the screen is blurred. I have a 1080p one.

It is a TN Panel which are not that great. I do like the laptop but I would have preferred a IPS or PVA Panel as a TN Panel has terrible viewing angles.
