I tried chatting with dell rep, but she was clueless. What I'm trying to find out for certain is if I order a "for work" version that sells for $1199, which includes i5 cpu, 8gb ram and 1 tb hybrid hdd, is there an empty m.2 slot into which I could install a Pcie SSD?
    thanks for your help

Yup. It looks like other people are reporting that one of the M.2 slots is for SSD drives, and is connected to a storage controller. (the other being for the wireless card).
