I would recommend the xps 15: more power, and a much better screen.

XPS 15 has more processing power and is a great value for money as compared to xps 15z at the same price point. You get more for your money with xps 15. However, xps 15 is bulky as compared to xps 15z.

So, if you want a thin and light laptop as compared to xps 15, then go for xps 15z. If you want more power, more ram, a higher capacity hdd at a lower price than xps 15z, then go for xps 15.

speakers and dedicate page up/down buttons are a major plus to the 15.

being thin, light, and are the major plus of the 15z.

Difference in processing power + HDD are fairly negligible to me

I would rate processing power and hdd over page up/down buttons.
