yes i dont know why...i have a 64bits system but why on the system properties says 6GB of Ram (4.92 Usable) it has something to do with the format? or 64Bits OS? or it means that my memory its faulty and has bad sectors or blocks??

    Thanks

if you go to the task manager and then to performance and then to memory..you will see that the hardware takes some memory but why 1 GB? and with others less?...as far as i know its impossible to changes the values even with the msconfig option to increase the boot memory to the max

Have you checked by right-clicking on your taskbar & viewing the Task Manager/Performance tab (the resource monitor/memory tab also shows the RAM distribution graphically)?

Edit: problem solved, i unchecked the option to start with the max amount of ram....now it use 106MB...strangely a lot of people resolved the problem enabling the max amount of memory
