    Hey Guys,

Starting a new thread as the ultra-thin notebook name has been revealed :)

Unfortunately, no further info can be found about this machine.

Just hope it come with the following options:

    i5/i7 SB processor
    Full HD Screen
    Bluray
    Medium Range Graphics Cards
UBL SPEAKERS!!! (same on the current XPS models)
    Backlit Keyboard
Low weight (2 kg for 15 inch)
Decent battery: 3 -4 hrs on 6 cell

Anyone have any suggestions for notebooks with similar specs from other brands??

    thanks a lot!
    :D

So far, I'm fairly underwhelmed by the 15Z. It doesn't look all that "ultrathin". (compare it to the Thinkpad X1) If it has a decent dedicated GPU, I might change my impression of it. I like the FHD display option but a Sager is not all that much bigger and has the FHD display with a GT 540M GPU.

The 14" size is more interesting for an ultralight. That is the one I'm waiting to see. Hopefully, it will get a high resolution display as well. A High res display and decent dedicated GPU would make this a really competitive device.

It is really a shame that Dell never ressurrected the XPS 13. That is a perfect size for an ultrathin and light.
