    Dell XPS 1330 will not boot...

    this problem just started today and I can't access the computer at all

    basically, when the DELL loading finishes, it just stalls on a black screen with a continuous ticking noise from the HD. I've tried using F8 to start in safe mode and etc, but the same thing happens for all options, and now hold F8 does not bring up the menu.

    i also tried the diagnostics test and it came up with error 2000-0146

    Sounds like your HDD died... is there an option to do an HDD test in your BIOS?
