    Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a clean install guide for Windows 8? I recently wiped the disk to try out Ubuntu and am now stuck.

I've got an image on USB but during the install process I get a complaint about missing drivers.

Any guides or pointer would be helpful.

    Cheers.

That's surprising, I did a clean install of win8 using an RTM build of Win8 pro (since mine apparently has a pro license), it installed without any trouble at all. I've got the UEFI set to normal rather than legacy, perhaps that helps?
From there I just installed the drivers from dell's support page and it's worked very well with all the functionality it had from new except I have a cleaner build and .net apps are behaving better.

    Hi,
I also wonder what's the procedure to make a clean install of W8 on the XPS13. In particular, how to "burn" a W8 image on an USB key?

    Thanks.
