Dell Studio XPS 17 inch with Quad core?

Has anyone heard rumors about a possible Dell Studio XPS 17 inch?

Some specs that were mentioned to me Centrino 2, Quad Core , backlit keyboard, 4-8 GB DDR3 RAM, with 250 HDD – 500 HDD or 72,80 and 128 GB SSD options

Someone mentioned to me that it’s due out this summer (August) 09 but won’t be available till the fall octoberish 09 in the U.S.

Also, an updated ADAMO mostly spec wise due sometime between Oct and Dec?

Thanks in Advance for any responses!

Hmm, interesting that the M1730 just dropped a whopping $400 at the Dell website. I certainly would love to see a Studio XPS in a 17" form factor but sadly most manufacturers are moving towards the 16x9 display format. :(

That's why I still hold out hope that if Dell doesn't introduce a Studio XPS 17 they'll consider a Studio XPS 18.4" (16x9 display format) laptop.

They kept the Studio XPS 13 in a 16:10 format.

why would it be available 2-3 months later in the US than wherever it's supposed to be initially available? You wouldn't know it from their tech support, but Dell is a US company...
