A friend has this laptop - purchase from BB. The HD crashed and he is waiting on the box from Dell to ship it back. I offered as a n option to replace the drive. How easy/hard is it to replace the drive in this laptop? Is the drive easy to access?

The hard drive is as easy to replace as upgrading RAM is!

Just unscrew all ten screws on the underside to take off the dust filter, and the hard drive is right there. Just slot out and replace!
