I just got my new Studio XPS 16, but accidentally disabled the quickset tray icon. I've checked registry and tried reinstalling quickset, but nothing i do can get it back. Is there any other way to do it without having to reinstall my whole computer? (as i've already installed several other programs, it'll be quite some effort). Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

As long as you didn't *uninstall* Quickset it's an easy recover:
Follow this path:
C:\Program Files\Dell\QuickSet
Then Launch the Quickset application in the folder.
Hope that helps!

Hey, thanks for the reply, i've tried that, and all it comes up with is the windows mobility center. Is there a way to access quickset options?

What is quickset? I have it on mine but don't know what it does.

Yeah, quickset is installed, just that the system tray icon isn't showing, which is extremely incredibaly inconvenient, and despite my best efforts, i can't get it to show!

hey, thanks to all who replied, i tried this fix ( http://www.colincochrane.com/post/2007/10/Windows-Vista-Disappearing-System-Tray-Icons-Fix.aspx) and it worked, apparently it should work on vista for all disapearing system tray icons, so if anyone has any similiar problems, should try it out! ^.^ thanks to all who replied
