Hello all! I am using a Dell Studio XPS 1647 with a slot loading bluray drive. It came with the "Dell custom" version of Cyberlink PowerDVD which is supposed to be able to play Bluray disks. Its very hit and miss and even the Dell forums had trouble finding a permanent solution. Are the current Dell models still coming with the same software? I bought this dell specifically to watch Bluray movies on the 1080 RBG LED screen and couldn't be happier with it when it does work.

I got tired of waiting for updates on my 1640's Power DVD DX and just upgraded to Power DVD 10 Ultra when it was on sale awhile back. IIRC, my XPS 15 came with Power DVD 9, but I never used it since I immediately replaced it with my Ultra copy. No waiting around for updates that never come.
