This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Today Dell posted the following Forceware Drivers for use with the XPS M1730 9800M GTX, 8800M GTX, and Quadro Line:

    179.24 Windows Vista 64 Driver
    179.24 Windows Vista 32 Driver
    179.24 Windows XP 32 Driver

    Give them a try if you want... I'll report back when I have time to test with the 8800M GTX. Given that most of us use drivers supplied from other than Dell, it'll be interesting to see how far I can push this 4 month old release... ;)
