I own an M1330 with the know defective graphics chip. I used to lurk here quite a bit when I first got the laptop to learn all about it but haven't been around in some time.

The other day I got a notice of a class action suit which is nearing settlement that would provide buyers who got this chip with either a new graphics chip/motherboard (which seems impossible), compensation for any out of pocket repairs, or a replacement computer (which I assume is for cases where a suitable graphics chip/mother board replacement is not available).

I signed up for email notification on updates to the class action settlement, but I came here looking for news. I tried doing a search but there was nothing recent. Anyone else get this notice? Anyone know anything more about it?
