When I attempt to play a blue-ray DVD, Media Direct attempts to open the file. I do have a Blue-ray driver. Anyway, when a Blue-Ray DVD is attempting to open, I start to see the movie opening; however, it only goes a very short distance into the movie before it stops, pauses, and then goes black before it starts doing the cycle again. It does this for about a minute continually cycling before the program freezes. I have looked for updates. I'm told there are no updates. Please help.

Media Direct is in a separate partition unseen by your operating system. If the movie is unsupported by Media Direct, you'll have to play it in Windows.

I finally gave up on MediaDirect for playing Blu-Ray discs. I bought powerdvd ultra.

(Ironman wouldn't play.. i know that disc has some problems but powerdvd worked when Mediadirect wouldn't).
