    Hi all,

Just wondering what the quality of the Dell 17Inch 3D screen is like for 2D viewing. I recently purchased a new L702x with the standard full hd screen. When I received it I immediately complained it was totally substandard, the quality was disgusting with the amount of visible grain.

After numerous complaints to the customer care department who were rude and unhelpful I managed to speak to one of the case managers, explained the situation. She offered me a replacement laptop same specs but the the upgraded 3D screen and Graphics card.

I'll receive the replacement in a couple of weeks, once I am happy I will send my current one back. Any comments on the 3D screen would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

After getting 4 replacements for 4 separate machines, due to various issues, dents, scratches, bad hinges etc i know have faulty USB3 ports on 3 of them aswell as a flicker on the otheer screen. Last time I spoke to Dell they still refused giving me any sort of upgrades when sending out replacements, instead opting for a pathetic 5% discount of a 3k purchase.

How did you manage to get the upgrades successfully?
