    Hi, I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on my XPS 1340. I currently have the Dell 1515 Card, which gives me terrible signal quality. I'll have it 5 feet away from a G router and I get a Poor signal with drops every 5-10minutes. In comparison, both my ipod touch and my blackberry bold get perfect reception even outside my house. I've tried everything I've seen on this forum and Google, which is basically installing the atheros modded drivers, which doesn't work at all for me (seeing as I can't uninstall the dell drivers, only update over them).

    I'm fed up with this laptop and just need a replacement card. I ordered a Intel 5300, would this work with the laptop?

    So there shouldn't be problems with a Intel WLAN Card on a nVidia chipset? Alright well thanks!

    no... it wil not work wit any intel wifi card. only can use on broadcom wifi card.
    i tried, the system hang after i install the intel driver for intel wifi card.
