I just unboxed my new xps and noticed two dead pixels so I called Dell, I didn't really want to wait for a replacement so I elected to have the screen replaced. Has anyone had their 1080p screen replaced?

Sorry to hear that. The screen is not hard to replace, the cable is already there since you have the 1080p, so only thing need to be done is open the bezel and replace the screen.

Just hope your tech is experienced and make sure it's the right screen.

I have the 720p screen and had 1 dead pixel, I got a tech to come and replace my screen, but now the screen was worse then before and I can't even use it, what a bad day. So waiting for the tech to come today to replace it again with another new screen.

here an easy on your eye tip how to really detect a dead pixel or stuck pixel on display screen. take your laptop to a dark room, put the display screen to max bright with a solid black wallpaper background. good luck...

Technician already came this morning and replaced my screen, New one is perfect. Only took him about 15 minutes, I could do it myself now that I have seen it done.
