    Hi,

I am facing a very weird problem. The game CS 1.6 loads fine and everything goes well until it displays the OK Button on loading a map. I am unable to click the OK button and it appears as if the game froze. Why is this happening?

My laptop seems to run fine, no heating issues and lots of resources available. I use the XPS 17 in my Sig to play this game.

Is anyone facing this same problem? I am so upset I can't play CS with my friends :( Please help!

Have you tried reinstalling CS or Steam?

Go into your Steam program file and delete ClientRegistry.blob file. This will force Steam to redownload the latest updates.

Deleted the ClientRegistry.blob. Steam started updating.

But I still face the problem. The OK Button is not responding, nothing is responding in the screen, nor even the links :-(
