okay, can i connect my laptop up to my surround sound systemt to play mp3s, the reason being all my mp3s are on my laptop, i mean 1000's, and the only real system i have to play them on is my surround sound system, i normally just put the ones i want to play onto a memory stick and stick it in the slot on the surround sound, but this means mesin about deletin them when i want to change them. Now, my surround sound has the usual slots + udsb and hdmi. therefore i can just plug it in and just play them through media direct straight off my laptop.
