Sorry if this has been disused before, which I bet it has, but with school going crazy and other life issues up I haven’t had the time to search thoroughly through the thousands of comets around here which I often love to do.

Well I pulled the trigger, again, and got me a Dell Studio XPS 16 with Specs below:

RBG LED FHD screen, with leather <3
Core i7 with 8MB L3 and turbo boost to 3.06 GHZ
Standard 500 gig hard drive and Bluetooth.
    Blu-ray read drive
Windows 7 ultimate, was thinking just Pro but it was only $20 more xP

Grand total, a nice small even $2,555 xP Would have been around $2,100 or even less had the $400 off offer still been going >.<

I had to contact Dell about why my order wasn’t showing up as the RGB leather screen at the Dell website, the guy confirmed that it was in fact the RGB screen that was in place. I also asked about the TV tuner port, asking to see if it was included since I wanted to have it and the option was not listed on the ordering screen. He said it already was built in….But why have I seen some that don’t have it?

So here are some questions I have:

    1. From reading the forums, some people have received their Core i7’s 1645’s, do they have the improved cooling system? i.e. the 5 vent rows.
    2. Do the 1645’s have the TV tuner port?
    3. Is there a way to make sure when I get mine that it does in fact have the RGB screen. Keep in mind I never actually have seen one in person, is it listed in the BIOS or something?

I’m thinking that since the rep form Dell told me that there is a TV tuner port and if I get mine that doesn’t have one, I should be able to nag their ear off and get one shipped that does, I just hope they wont spit on the mother board :D
