    Hi people,

    I've got a Dell M1710 gaming laptop (2.00ghz / 2gb RAM / 512mb nVidia 7800 GO GTX / 7800rpm 80gb HD)

Has anyone else had issues trying to run the Counter Strike: Source benchmark/stress test on one of the M1710's? It always loads into the menu system, lets me go into settings, etc... but when I ask it to benchmark it freaks - kicks me back into Windows and comes up with a Memory Write Error (windows system error).

Any suggestions on how to get this gaming laptop to run the benchmark function of this game? Or are we thinking it's just a poor install - wipe and reinstall the game via Steam.
