Thanks to the awesome credit of my Girlfriend(mines horrible) i was able to get myself a 1530 I didnt want to run it all up so being that all i really be doing is blogging surfing and play WoW and maybe a few other games I selected the lowest end proc they had the T5750.

Ive been lurking the site for a few days reading posts and it seems that most of you have the higher end procs. Did i make a big mistake in selecting the T5750? Or do you think it will be fine for what plan to do.

you recieve a copy of vista with the laptop.
I believe your processor is too old and not fast enough.
By getting the new generation of procesors, you will have a much faster computer and a better energy efficiency.

I would say it's not possible. Not because it can't be done... Attempting to get Dell to upgrade your CPU will be time consuming and will most likely result in a waste of time.

Should you decide to upgrade your CPU at a later time you should be able to pickup a compatible CPU on ebay for little money and do the upgrade yourself. It's not that difficult and Dell does provide the service manuals online.
