    Buying a Dell XPS 14 in Austin, Texas

    Hi guys,

    I am flying to Austin next Friday and I am after a Dell XPS 14. The problem is I will no be there enough time to order one.

    Do anyone knows a local store in Austin that could sell a Dell XPS 14? It would be great to find such a store, but I have been googling around and found nothing...

    They only have refurbished laptops, and not the one I want
    Oh.. and Dell is also based in Austin Texas
    I did knew they have a research lab in Austin, but didn't new that I could pick it up direct. Will give them a call and see what they say.

    That seems good, I am going to look at it :D

    Well, I have just called Dell and no luck, just sent me over to bestbuy, wallmart, costco and stores like that. The problem is that none of that stores have the Dell XPS 14 :(

    I have been looking at the other local stores, but they are all small repair shops, which only sell old refurbished models.

    As for Dell Laptops, Dell Computers & Dell Parts I emailed them and they don't sell that model :(

    Any more options?

    Given the XPS line is relatively new, I'm not at all surprised many retail stores don't sell it yet. May just want to wait it out, and SB refresh should be coming very shortly for the XPS line..
