Anyone else catch this, this late? Came out at the end of June.. didn't see anything about it on the forums so sorry if this was already talked about. Looks we finally go more detailed info in the changelog!!! (something Bill said the engineers would start doing months ago)

There was some discussion about the XPS 1645's A10 on release day which was released at the same time which is nearly the same thing.

    XPS 1645's A10:
    *Features update:
    1. Prevent potential risk of BIOS crash during WIN-FLASH:
1.1 Disable USB device during WIN-FLASH.
1.2 It will skip to flash un-used ME block during WIN-FLASH.
    2. Enhanced SMBIOS structure for processor core count.

    *Issues fix:
    1. system will BSOD show 9F after running S4 stress about 10-300 cycles.

As you can see the 1647 says a few more things, but whatever. For the XPS 1645, the BIOS update brings back the ~84C limit on the GPU, so I since reverted back to the previous version. In summary it was a big waste of my time. I'll assume this is the same for the 1647, but someone could correct me if I'm wrong.
